We're an Award Winning Outdoor Activity Centre in the Peak District with passionate, experienced instructors and excellent facilities in the heart of the Hope Valley

 

Since 2006, Pure Outdoor have provided UK and overseas Hillwalking, Climbing, Caving, Mountain Biking, Mountaineering, First Aid, Corporate Training and Group Events from our base in the Peak District. Our excellent, dedicated training centre The Adventure Hub provides a unique facility for all customers to enjoy.

 

We're located in a wonderful setting in the heart of the Peak District National Park and benefits from the unrivalled natural facilities of the surrounding hills & mountains. We have a fantastic team all working together to ensure your experience is welcoming and relaxed. Our instructors are amongst the most experienced, committed and competent outdoor enthusiasts you could hope to meet and it is their talents that make your visit so enjoyable and memorable.

 

Born in Alaska - Grown in the Peak District 


"The first concept of Pure Outdoor goes back to 2011 on expedition in Alaska with Guy, Neil and Chris that resulted in the first ascent of ‘Sourdough Suicide’ on Mt Geist. With many days spent waiting for weather windows and dreaming big - sketching notes and doodling ideas. Upon our return I could just make out a few notes on some of our scraps of paper. It was a business plan and it was simple. “Climb more, Work less, Have fun”. It hold’s true to this day. We wanted to do a better job. To design an outdoor company to educate and inspire and to share our passion. We wanted to be out there doing, learning and experiencing! Little did we know, the adventure was yet to begin…."
