Course Overview
A brilliant opportunity to take your group for an adventurous challenge in the Peak District. Enjoy the freedom of the hills and provide the opportunity for your group to let their hair down in an environment that provides challenge, activities and memories to take away. We will provide a series of outdoor activities including rock climbing, abseiling, orienteering and weaselling (crawling up, over and through a boulder field circuit) along with traditional team-building challenges in an amazing setting.
Depending on the goals of your event, we provide competitive challenges or team building games with specific aims. This can be done as a single group if there are 12 or fewer participants, for larger groups, we will split up and each team will do each activity in a 'round robin' style.
We include three or four activities and the day will always be customised to meet your goals, an example day may look something like this:
Climbing and Abseil Challenge: this is a timed activity. Get two people up and down two routes. Time will start and finish once the first person steps on the carpet square, the clock will stop when the second person returns to the carpet square. An hour is given to this challenge, make as many attempts as possible, the best time will be recorded.
Weaselling Challenge: a route has been marked for you to follow, it will take you under, over and between a variety of rock obstacles.
Problem Solving: A timed activity: time taken to solve the challenge to pass a full bucket of water under the bridge using the equipment provided.
All activities ask the teams to face new challenges. To complete the challenges the teams required elements of leadership, communication, innovation and enthusiasm.

- We encourage the use of public transport on all our courses. Bamford Railway Station is 5 minutes' walk and we enjoy direct bus connections to Sheffield and nearby villages.
- We offer free camping kit for guests staying locally and looking to cut down on luggage.
- Our staff are trained to prolong the life of equipment used on this course, where it is possible to recycle equipment at the end of its life, we do so appropriately.
- We operate in small teams at low ratios to reduce our impact on the venues we use and other countryside users.
- We donate 5% of the value of all sales to The Pure Outdoor Foundation.
