Course Overview

Adrenalin, adventure and action or challenge, critical thinking and cunning. Either way Your Stag or Hen are about to have a spectacular experience at the forefront of the day whilst making fantastic memories with friends and family.


This event can be your absolute perfect combination of activities - Full on action adventures, more sedate and skill based activities or a bit of both to please everyone in the group.

YOUR PERSONALISED ACTIVITY DAY


9:30 - 16:30


ARRIVE AT THE ADVENTURE HUB OR MEET AT THE FIRST ACTIVITY

We can meet at the Adventure Hub where your instructor will welcome you and arrange equipment over a great cup of fresh Italian coffee or tea. Alternatively If it suits your itinerary we can meet you at a predefined location at a time to suit you.

COLLECT AND CHECK YOUR EQUIPMENT

You will be sized up for any required equipment. All you need to do is check your clothing is suitable for the conditions and that you have snacks and a drink.

TRAVEL TO ACTIVITY LOCATION

The exact location will depend on the weather and the aims and abilities of the group. Typically this is no more than a 15 minute drive from The Adventure Hub. A short walk to the first activity will follow.

ACTIVITY SESSIONS

Each activity will be introduced with a short lesson in how to be safe and use the required equipment. It's then over to you to give it a go with as much good humoured mockery and banter as you want. Your instructor will always be on hand to give advice, keep you safe and add to the fun. You will move between the chosen activities throughout the day as we journey around the area by car or by foot, stopping for lunch and refreshments at a suitable moment.

BACK TO THE ADVENTURE HUB OR ONWARD TO YOUR NEXT EVENT

Once we are finished we will return to the car and either return to The Adventure Hub for coffee or send you on your way for the evenings entertainment.

  • Comfortable, sturdy footwear

  • Sun cream, hat and sunglasses (you just never know!)

  • We encourage the use of public transport on all our courses. Bamford Railway Station is 5 minutes' walk and we enjoy direct bus connections to Sheffield and nearby villages.
  • We offer free camping kit for guests staying locally and looking to cut down on luggage.
  • Our staff are trained to prolong the life of equipment used on this course, where it is possible to recycle equipment at the end of its life, we do so appropriately.
  • We operate in small teams at low ratios to reduce our impact on the venues we use and other countryside users.
  • We donate 5% of the value of all sales to The Pure Outdoor Foundation.
