How to Redeem a Virgin Experience Days, Into the Blue or Red Letter Days Voucher with Pure Outdoor
Lucky you. Someone has bought you a day out in the Peak District with us, and now you want to get it in the diary. If your voucher came from Virgin Experience Days, Into the Blue, Buy a Gift or Red Letter Days, booking works a little differently from a normal course booking. Here's everything you need to know.
The short version
Experience day vouchers from these companies can't be used in our online checkout. Instead, you send us your voucher details and we book you in by hand. It takes two minutes: send us your voucher details here.

If your voucher is from one of them (or another experience company), use the redemption form. If it was bought directly from Pure Outdoor, skip to the section on our own gift vouchers below.
How to redeem your experience voucher
- Find your voucher code. It will be on the voucher itself or in the email from the company that sold it.
- Check which experience it's for. Your voucher will name the course or activity, for example a rock climbing taster or a caving trip.
- Fill in our experience voucher form. Tell us who the voucher is from, the voucher code, the course on the voucher, the names of everyone taking part, and a mobile number and email address. If you already know which dates suit you, add those too.
- We check dates with you. The team will reply by email with available dates for your course.
- We book you in. Once you've picked a date, we book it in and send your joining instructions.

What we need from you
- Your voucher code
- The course or experience named on your voucher
- The names of everyone taking part
- A mobile number and email address
- Any dates that suit you (optional, but it speeds things up)

Our own gift vouchers work differently. If your voucher was bought directly from Pure Outdoor, you don't need the form at all: just book online as normal. Choose your course and date, then enter your voucher code at checkout.

A few tips
- Book early. Weekend dates in spring and summer fill up first, so get in touch as soon as you can.
- Watch the expiry date. If your voucher is close to running out, mention it in the notes and we'll do our best to fit you in.
- Check what to bring. Your joining instructions will tell you where to meet and what to wear. All the technical kit is provided.
