Our unique in-house training scheme is designed to train a group of up to 6 candidates to become a Peak District Outdoor Instructor during the course of a year.

Course Overview
Depending on the entry level and your aspirations, the whole year will be tailored to your requirements. Due to this, the price is completely flexible to suit your goals.
By the end of the scheme you would have attended courses aimed at training you to become an instructor in your chosen field: Hillwalking, Climbing and Caving along a First Aid Certificate. This is not the only benefit as there is a huge amount of value added through the mentoring and shadowing side of the scheme along with advice on setting up a new business, outdoor industry advice and help with starting up as a freelance outdoor instructor.
The emphasis is not only on giving you the experience to get qualified but also to make you a top instructor.
The scheme is designed as a part-time training scheme that can be achieved in a year alongside work or study. Much of the course will be over weekends with occasional weeks throughout the year.
