STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. FEES

1.1. All courses include VAT unless otherwise stated.
1.2. All places must be reserved by booking online or over the phone and a specified deposit or full balance.
1.3. The balance of the fee is payable 6 weeks prior to the commencement of the course. In the event that the balance is not paid we will have the discretion to treat the booking as cancelled by the client and re-sell the course place.
1.4. The whole course fee is required to reserve a place for any booking made within 6 weeks of the commencement of the course.
1.5. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

2. CANCELLATION BY CLIENT
2.1. All cancellations must be in writing.
2.2. The client will be charged the following cancellation fees depending on the date the course commences (when calculating any potential refund the initial booking date will be considered rather than any reschedule dates):-
2.3.1. 25% of the total course fee where cancellation takes place more than 4 weeks before the commencement of the course;or
2.3.2. 75% of the total course fee where cancellation takes place between 4 weeks and 2 weeks before the commencement of the course;or
2.3.3. 100% of the total course fee where cancellation takes place within the final 2 weeks before the commencement of the course.
2.4. Gift vouchers are non-refundable after the cooling off period.
2.5 Amendments- Substitution of the original customer for another can be made provided at least 2 weeks notice is given by the substituted customer to the company and the substituting customer satisfies the requirement of the course. All substitutions must be made with the consent of the company with both the substituted and substituting customer being jointly and severally liable for the total course fee as well as an administrative cost of £35.00 per course/substitution.A customer may apply, in writing, to change course or course dates as long as the original booking is more than 6 weeks from the date of the request. The new course must be one that appears on our website or is in the current brochure. An administrative charge of £35.00 is payable at the time of change. Any requests to change course or course dates within the 6 week period will be dealt with under the terms and conditions relating to cancellation by the customer.
2.6. REFUNDS POLICY for GOODS By law, customers located in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the seven working day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item and the cost of sending the item to you.

3. CANCELLATION BY Pure Outdoor Ltd
3.1. Whilst every attempt is made to ensure that advertised courses actually run, Pure Outdoor Ltd. will notify the client of cancellation as soon as practicable where it believes on reasonable grounds that cancellation is necessary due to dangerous and/or unsuitable conditions for the course activity.
3.2. Pure Outdoor Ltd. shall notify the client of cancellation not less than five days prior to the commencement of the course where numbers as a result of client (s) cancellation failed to reach a workable minimum for the commencement of the course.
3.3. Cancellation by Pure Outdoor Ltd. does not affect a client's right to a refund of travel costs that he/she may have incurred prior to the cancellation and since lost except in the circumstances set out in clauses 3.1. and 3.2.
3.4. In the event of cancellation clients will be offered the choice of the following options:-
3.4.1. Full refund of the course fee paid;
3.4.2. Another course on different dates.

4. HEALTH, FITNESS, WEATHER AND EQUIPMENT
4.1. Clients should be aware that courses will involve walking over rough, sometimes steep terrain, for a number of miles in varying weather conditions. Each client should satisfy him/herself that he/she is sufficiently fit, and in possession of the appropriate clothes and equipment.

5. INSURANCE
5.1 Pure Outdoor Ltd. is fully insured for Public Liability. It is recommended that all participants are covered by some form of travel and personal insurance; normally these policies cover cancellation, personal accident and personal liability.
