Summary

This is a great introduction to the higher grade scrambling routes, during the 2 day course, we look at personal skills and techniques for the safe ascent of grade 2-3 scrambles. Ideal for those of you who have done some of the classic grade 1 routes and want to venture onto more challenging terrain, learning the ropework skills necessary for safe travel on grade 3's.

Whether you are battling with the vertical vice on 'The Chasm Face' in North Wales or traversing the Aonach Eagach ridge in Scotland, scrambling provides stunning days out on the hills.

Pre-Requisites

Some grade 1 Scrambles or the Beginner Scrambling course.

Equipment Required

Summer walking boots and hillwalking gear is necessary. All technical equipment will be provided.
